WHAT PEOPLE SAY

Sarah Wilson

I recently attended a Soulful Sunday Retreat led by Natalia. She was such a wonderful host in beautiful surroundings. I explained I was completely new to yoga and she was really kind and helped me to do as much as I was able which was a lot more than I expected.

I loved the additional elements of journaling and meditation too and left feeling like my soul had had a feast. Very grounding and like pressing the reset button. Highly recommend and I will be back.

NATALIA'S STORY

Deeply grounded in safe practice, taking you beyond the physical aspect of yoga.

Natalia's journey with yoga started 20 years ago when studying Cross-Cultural relations between Western and Oriental civilisations. It was love at first sight, one that propelled her to travel solo to India for three months in 2002.

During that first trip, Natalia visited Indian ashrams and became deeply fascinated by yoga philosophy and the scholarly approach to the spiritual. In 2003 she enrolled in a five-year Master’s degree in Indian Studies at the University of Warsaw. Majoring in Sanskrit and Indian philosophy; her final dissertation focused on Tantra and the relationship between the guru and the student in initiation rituals.

She also received a scholarship from the government of India to practice Bhratanatyam – classical Indian dance, in an internationally renowned Kalakshetra Academy of Performing Arts in Chennai (South India), where she studied for two years combining it with her yogic practice.

Natalia moved to Madrid, Spain in 2008 where she committed to regular practice of Ashtanga yoga at Mysore House, as taught by Pattabhi Jois. In Spain, she started giving classes and workshops in Indian philosophy, Sanskrit and chanting. She obtained her RYT 200hrs qualification with Inspira Yoga in London in 2016 and has been a Lead Teacher on the Inspira Yoga Teacher Trainings  in the UK and Spain for the past four years, lecturing in Sanskrit, yoga philosophy, tantra, mantras, Ayurverda and pregnancy yoga. In 2017, she completed her pre-natal and post-natal teacher training with Katy Appleton, an internationally recognised teacher.

For Natalia, yoga is the path of self-enquiry, acceptance and living the balance between continuous learning and letting go of expectations; she conveys this to her students guiding them gently and effectively in their practice.
